About Us

Reliable Presence. Texas Strong.

We're not a national chain. We're a Texas company that does one thing and does it right — keeping Texas businesses compliant and protected.

Our Story

Built in Texas, for Texas

Longhorn Agent was founded with a simple idea: Texas business owners deserve a registered agent service that actually treats them like people — not account numbers.

Most registered agent companies are national chains operating out of Delaware or Nevada, covering Texas as an afterthought. They're slow, impersonal, and buried in upsells. We built Longhorn Agent as a Texas-only alternative — lean, responsive, and focused entirely on what Texas entities actually need.

We receive your documents at our Round Rock, Texas address, scan them the same day they arrive, and put them in your secure portal immediately. You get an email alert the moment we upload. That's it. No phone trees, no waiting, no runaround.

If you receive a lawsuit, we flag it as high priority and make sure you see it — because in Texas, you typically have 20 days from service to respond. That clock starts the moment we receive your papers. We take that seriously.

What We Stand For

Our commitments to you

Speed Matters

Legal deadlines don't wait. We scan and upload every document the same business day it arrives — not the next day, not when we get around to it.

🤝
Transparency Always

The price you see is the price you pay. No surprise fees, no annual price hikes, no upsell calls. We think business relationships work better that way.

🏠
Texas Focused

We serve Texas entities only. That means we know Texas Secretary of State requirements, Texas franchise tax rules, and Texas compliance inside and out.

Your Documents Are Safe

Texas Law

What Texas requires

Under the Texas Business Organizations Code, every Texas LLC, corporation, limited partnership, and other registered entity must maintain a registered agent with a physical street address in Texas. A PO box is not sufficient.

The registered agent's role is to receive service of process (lawsuits) and official government correspondence on behalf of your entity. If your registered agent can't be reached — or you don't have one — your entity can be forfeited by the Texas Secretary of State.

Longhorn Agent LLC is fully authorized to act as a registered agent in the State of Texas. Our address is a real physical location in Round Rock, Texas, fully compliant with Texas Secretary of State requirements.
